This Regional Law enters into force on 1 January 2005.
Abstract

This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of protection of the population and territory against natural and technological disasters of intermunicipal and regional type. This Regional Law establishes the modalities of functioning and operation of the regional subsystem (early warning system) of the federal (national) state system of prevention of natural disasters and mitigation of the consequences thereof. The population shall be informed by the competent state institutions of the forecasts related to outbreak of natural and technological disasters, consequences thereof, and data related to environmental security. It shall organize in accordance with the established modalities data collection, exchange and dissemination of information related disaster risk assessment.
