This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes legal grounds for pedigree stockbreeding, production of pedigree materials and establishes rights and duties of citizens, peasant farms and legal persons in the sphere of pedigree stockbreeding. Pedigree stockbreeding shall carry out the following tasks: (a) conservation and improvement of breeds of agricultural animals; and (b) conservation of genetic fund of low number and endangered species of agricultural animals. Pedigree stockbreeding shall be subject to mandatory licensing.
