Entry into force notes
This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication and shall be applicable to relations beginning from 1 January 2014.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes that persons mastering a basic general education program with simultaneous stay (including residence) in the regional state educational institutions shall be provided with meals according to norms, set by normative legal acts adopted by the authorized regional state institution in the field of education, science and industry, and of youth policy. Students of a basic general education program with simultaneous residence in an educational organization shall be provided with five meals a day. Students of a basic general education program staying in an educational organization without residence shall be provided with two meals a day. Replacement of food with cash compensation shall be prohibited. Students that are orphans and children without care of parents, who are living in an educational institution, shall be provided with food packages while they are away from educational institution, on weekend holidays and vacation period in accordance with the federal legislation.
