Abstract This Regional Law regulates hunting and hunting management, establishes legal grounds for protection, reproduction and management of wild fauna species subject to hunting, including conservation and protection of habitats thereof. It shall not be applicable to protected areas. Hunting areas shall be classified as hunting farms and hunting grounds for general use. Hunting management scheme shall be validated by the Regional Government for the period no less than 10 years and no longer than 25 years. In order to ensure protection of wild fauna species shall be established optimum and minimum number of wild fauna species subject to hunting. Documents attesting the right to hunting shall be: (a) hunting association membership card; (b) nominal once-only hunting licences; (c) hunting authorization (contract) for hunting issued by hunting managers; and (d) firearms licence.
