Abstract This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of conservation and management of wild fauna, natural habitats thereof with a view of ensuring biological diversity, setting up conditions for sustainable existence of wild fauna, conservation of genetic fund of wild fauna species and other forma of protection of wild fauna as integrated part of natural environment. It also shall be applicable to captive breeding of wild fauna species and utilization of genetic fund thereof for scientific research and educational purposes. Wild fauna within regional boundaries shall be public property. Natural and legal persons shall be granted the right: (a) to obtain information related to wild fauna from state bodies; (b) to perform environmental audit; (c) to carry out arrangements for protection of wild fauna and natural habitats thereof; and (d) to assist in the realization of state programs in the sphere of wild fauna.
