Abstract State veterinary service shall be the authorized state institution in the sphere of veterinary that shall have the following competence: (a) prevention and liquidation of the outbreaks of animal diseases; (b) animal healthcare; and (c) veterinary servicing of stockbreeding and state veterinary supervision. State veterinary supervision shall carry out the following tasks: (a) identification of animal diseases and conditions of the outbreak and spreading of animal diseases; (b) organization of animal disease control; (c) enforcement of acting veterinary rules and regulations; (d) application of special protective arrangements of animals; and (e) and suppression of violations of veterinary legislation.
