The Regional Law enters into force from the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes, in accordance with the Federal Legislation, the modalities of the utilization of the plots of forest land for hunting and is aimed at: a) protection of state interests as regards conservation of forest resources; b) rational management and conservation of the forest stock; c) improvement of the utilization of forest stock for hunting; d) combination of the interests of forestry and hunting; e) protection of the interests of physical and juridical persons. Plots of forest land are conceded for hunting to juridical persons-users of hunting facilities on lease and free-of-charge in accordance with the Russian legislation. Term of lease is limited to the term of long-term licence for the use of the wildlife species. The Regional Law consists of 3 Chapters that contain 8 articles. Chapter 1 (arts. 1 and 2) lays down the general provisions. Chapter 2 (arts. 3-6) establishes the modalities of concession of the plots of forest land for hunting. Chapter 3 (arts. 7 and 8) lays down the final provisions.
