Entry into force notes
This Regional Law enters into force ten days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law delimits plenary powers at the regional level in the sphere of subsoil management. Regional Government shall be responsible for: (a) management of regional mineral deposits; (b) setting forth terms and conditions for extraction of common minerals by landowners without the use of explosives; (c) issuance and renewal of exploration and mining licenses; and (d) public expertise and assessment of mineral deposits. Regional executive body in the sphere of subsoil management shall be responsible for: (a) validation of the list of plots of subsoil of local significance; (b) concession of plots of subsoil of local significance; and (c) state geological supervision.
