This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law regulates delimitation of plenary powers in the sphere of conservation and management of wild fauna and aquatic biological resources. The Regional Government shall have the following plenary powers: (a) protection of wild fauna species, except for those populating protected areas, and also endangered and protected animal species recorded in the Red Book of the Russian Federation; (b) regulation of management of common wild fauna species; (c) regulation of reproduction of wild fauna species; (d) introduction of use restrictions for wild fauna species; and (e) regulation of hunting gear and hunting methods, and issuance of hunting licences.
