This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law determines general legal, economic and social basis and unified organizational principles for veterinary activity. Basic tasks of veterinary shall be as follows: (a) prevention and liquidation of dangerous animal diseases, including livestock, pets, companion animals, zoo animals, fur-bearing animals, fishes and bees; (b) training of veterinary specialists; (c) enforcement of veterinary legislation; (d) protection of the regional territory against introduction of animal diseases; and (e) performance of state veterinary supervision.
