Abstract This Regional Law regulates some issues of protection of animals against diseases, release of safe animal products and protection of the population against diseases common to animals and human beings. It establishes the tasks of State veterinary service as follows: (a) prevention and liquidation of infectious and mass non-infectious animals diseases; (b) ensuring veterinary and sanitary safety of animal products; (c) protection of the population against diseases common to animals and human beings; and (d) protection of the regional territory against introduction of infectious animal diseases.
