This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes that Regional Cabinet of Ministers shall have the following plenary powers in the sphere of environmental protection: (a) participation in the realization of the federal policy of ecological development; (b) adoption of regional legislative acts and enforcement thereof; (c) participation in state environmental monitoring; (d) ecological education; (e) collection of environmental fees for negative environmental impact; (f) keeping of the regional Red Book of protected and endangered wild fauna and wild flora species; and (g) organization of regional protected areas.
