Abstract This Regional Law regulates relations regarding procurement of non-timber edible forest resources (wild growing fruits, berries, nuts, mushrooms, seeds, birch juice etc.) and medicinal plants by citizens for individual personal needs. Citizens shall be granted the right to collect non-timber edible forest resources and medicinal plants free of charge and without any authorization. Picking of berries shall be carried out manually, without the use of any mechanical means. Felling of trees for collection of seeds shall be prohibited.
