This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law regulates some issues related to turnover of agricultural land, shares in common property of agricultural land, and envisages the cases of participation of municipal units in the aforesaid sphere. Privatization of agricultural land shall be effective from the date of entry into force of this Regional Law (art. 2). Minimum land area for artificially irrigated agricultural land or drained land shall be equal to field area having a separate land reclamation system but no less than 30 ha. Maximum agricultural land area that can be owned by a single person is established as percentage of total agricultural area varying from 10 to 40 percent from one municipal unit to another (art. 3). Agricultural land parcels conceded to agricultural organizations on condition of permanent (open-ended) tenancy can be transferred free of charge to citizens on condition of common ownership in case of cessation of the right of permanent (open-ended) tenancy of the aforesaid agricultural organizations to the aforesaid agricultural land parcels (art. 5).
