Abstract The scope of this Regional Law shall be to regulate conservation, rehabilitation and protection of natural environment, prevention of negative environmental impact by economic and other activities. Public shall have access to information related to the state of environment, protection of rare and endangered animal and plant species, state ecological monitoring data, ecological certification and environmental audit. Destruction of rare and endangered animal and plant species and habitats thereof shall be strictly prohibited. State executive bodies shall issue ecological certificates to organizations and enterprises operating in protected areas.
