Abstract This Regional Law regulates some issues related to hunting and hunting management. Commercial hunting shall be authorized for the following wild fauna species subject to hunting: (a) mammals and fur-bearing species; and (b) birds – ring dove (Columba palumbus), blue rock pigeon (Columba livia), turtledove (Streptopelia), geese, brant (Branta gen.), except for red-breasted goose (Branta ruficollis), partridge (Perdix), European coot (Fulica atra), quail (Coturnix) and ducks (Art. 2). Hunting quotas and rates shall be elaborated and validated by the authorized body (Art. 4). Hunting permits, except for hunting permits for hoofed animals, shall be distributed among hunters in accordance with queueing system (Art. 5).
