Abstract This Regional Law regulates forest management on regional territory. It establishes that forest parcels shall be reserved for timber extraction by citizens for individual personal needs. Citizens shall carry out timber extraction for individual personal needs in accordance with purchase and sale contracts of forest species. Regional executive bodies shall fix rates of fees for timber extraction by citizens for individual personal needs. This Regional Law establishes rates of timber extraction by citizens for residential housing construction and heating. Citizens shall be granted the right of free access to forests for collection and harvesting of non-timber forest resources, including medicinal plants.
