Abstract This Law determines the bases of industrial activity, the modalities of forming, validation and carrying out of the policy of city authorities in the field of industrial development and is aimed at creation of conditions for the development and support of industry, optimization of its composition and structure as well as ensuring employment of the population. Industrial activity includes extraction and transforming of minerals and natural resources, processing of agricultural commodities, generation of energy and production of hydrocarbons, as well as the activity regarding recycling of solid, liquid and gaseous industrial waste. Industrial activity does not include cultivation of agricultural plants and animal production, agro-forestry and transport. The Regional Law consists of 5 Chapters that contain 18 articles. Chapter 1 (arts. 1-3) lays down general provisions. Chapter 2 (arts. 4-6) regards industrial policy of the city of Moscow. Chapter 3 (arts. 7-11) regards coordination of the industrial policy. Chapter 4 (arts. 12-16) regards organization of industrial activity. Chapter 5 (arts. 17-18) lays down the final provisions. Full text Russian
