This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes the basic guidelines for agricultural development. The main directions of state policy in the sphere of agricultural development shall be as follows: (a) improvement of efficiency of the production of agricultural commodities; (b) ensuring stable and sustainable development of rural areas; (c) formation of agricultural commodities market; and (d) conservation of natural resources used for agriculture. Basic principles of regional agrarian policy shall be as follows: (a) accessibility and targeted orientation of state support of agriculture; (b) establishment of regional subsidy level for support of agriculture at no less than 6% of the regional budget annually; and (c) participation of associations of the producers of agricultural commodities in the formation of agrarian policy.
