This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes that industrial policy shall be intended complex of legal, economic, organizational and other arrangements directed at the development of industrial potential at the regional level. This Regional Law regulates relations originating between subjects operating in the sphere of industry, regional and state bodies and local self-government in the process of formation and implementation of industrial policy. The tasks of industrial policy shall be as follows: (a) formation and development of modern industry; (b) stimulation of industrial activity; (c) increase of industrial production output; (d) promotion of innovations and research in industry; (e) application of best available industrial technologies and methods; and ensuring technological independence of the regional economy. Particular attention shall be paid to promotion of inter-regional and international cooperation in various branches of industry.
