This Regional Law enters into force the day after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes legal grounds for pedigree stockbreeding, production and management of pedigree material, determines competence of state pedigree service, and also rights and duties of citizens in the sphere of pedigree stockbreeding. The scope of pedigree stockbreeding shall be to ensure reproduction of pedigree livestock, conservation of genetic fund of numerically small and endangered species of agricultural animals useful for selection purposes. Natural and legal persons shall be authorized to carry out stockbreeding and management of pedigree livestock without infringement of genetic selection programs and regulations related to conservation and management of genetic resources. Trade of pedigree products shall be authorized exclusively in the presence of certificate issued by state pedigree service.
