This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes legal basis for conservation, protection, reproduction and sustainable use of wild fauna species subject to hunting. The scope of this Regional Law shall be ensuring state interests in the aforesaid sphere, protection of rights of hunters and hunting managers, preservation of the national hunting traditions and creation of conditions for promotion of hunting and hunting management. Wild fauna species living in conditions of natural freedom on the regional territory shall be state property. Wild fauna species subject to hunting, removed from their natural habitat, can pertain to public, municipal and other forms of ownership. Hunting grounds shall be classified conceded in lease to legal persons and individual entrepreneurs for hunting management and hunting grounds of common use, authorized for hunting in accordance with hunting regulations. Hunting shall be authorized in compliance with hunting regulations. Documents authorizing hunting shall be membership cards of hunting associations and once-only nominal hunting permits issued for hunting of species subject to hunting exclusively with licence.
