This Regional Law enters into force ten days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law sets forth organizational and legal grounds for protection of the population and territory against natural and technological disasters of inter-municipal and regional levels. It establishes that regional territorial early warning subsystem shall be set up with a view of prevention of regional natural and technological disasters and mitigation of the consequences thereof. Regional Government shall define boundaries of the areas subject to early warning of the population and shall have the authority to apply maximum alert regime on the regional territory.
