Abstract This Regional Law lays down the grounds of state policy in the sphere of tourism. It specifies the types of tourism: (a) cultural and educational; (b) ecological; and (c) rural. The scope of state policy shall be promotion of tourism, ensuring the right of citizens to recreation and the right of free movement through sustainable development of tourist industry. Regional executive bodies shall participate in the implementation of national state policy in the sphere of tourism, information coverage of tourism and promotion of the regional cultural and tourist potential at the regional level. Regional Administration shall promote recreational tourism clusters and areas.
