Abstract This Regional Law regulates the issues of attribution of plenary powers to local government related to support of agriculture. Local government shall have the following plenary powers: (a) support of agricultural production on the territory of their municipal units; (b) promotion of the agro-industrial complex development; (c) enforcement of standards in the field of seed-growing and pedigree stockbreeding; (d) enforcement of agrotechnical, agrochemical, drainage, phytosanitary, anti-erosion arrangements for conservation of agricultural land; (e) registration of land under crops, sown crop varieties and cattle stock; and (f) partial reimbursement of interests on investment credits to agricultural producers, including cooperatives.
