Abstract The scope of this Regional Law shall be to set forth the conditions for the breeding, keeping and protection of bees, and also for protecting legal rights and interests of natural and legal persons carrying out apiculture. State support to apiculture shall be granted in accordance with regional programmes related to state support of agricultural activity. Beekeepers shall have the following rights: (a) to put beehives on land plots pertaining to their property or under their tenancy; (b) to put beehives during the period of honey flow on plots of land pertaining to other owners or tenants by consent given thereby; (c) to obtain state support, subsidies, incentives; (d) to obtain state veterinary assistance; and (e) to trade beekeeping products in the presence of veterinary certificates.
