Abstract This Regional Law regulates state agrarian policy aimed at sustainable development of agricultural production and rural areas with a view of increasing production of agricultural commodities, improvement of agricultural efficiency and rational land management. Agrarian policy shall be based upon the following principles: (a) combination of private and public interests in the sphere of agricultural development; (b) accessibility and target-oriented public subsidies; (c) access to information related to state agrarian policy and arrangements for granting public subsidies and incentives. State support for agricultural development shall be granted in the form of access to credits, insurance of agricultural risks and extension services.
