Abstract This Regional Law regulates some issues in the sphere of protection of public health. Regional Government shall have the following competence: (a) protection of human rights in the sphere of health protection; (b) introduction of restrictive arrangements (quarantine) in accordance with orders and instructions issued by Chief State Sanitary Inspector; (c) establishment of the modalities for practising popular medicine; and (d) performance of other plenary powers in the sphere of protection of public health in accordance with provisions of federal and regional legislation.
