This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law regulates timber extraction of forest species by citizens for individual personal needs (non-commercial purposes) for housing construction, re-construction, repairs and heating of residential facilities. Timber extraction shall be carried out in accordance with purchase and sale contract of forest species. This Regional Law lists documents requested by the governmental authority for the issuance of timber extraction authorization. Forest species subject to selective felling (intermediate felling) and also wind-fallen trees, dry stand and deadwood shall be allotted for fuelwood. Non-specified and non-purposeful use of extracted timber by citizens shall be prohibited. Citizens must perform land clearing upon completion of timber extraction operations.
