Abstract This Regional Law regulates relations originating between subjects operating in the sphere of industry, regional and state bodies and local self-government in the process of formation and implementation of industrial policy. The tasks of industrial policy shall be as follows: (a) formation and development of modern industry; (b) stimulation of industrial activity; (c) increase of industrial production output; (d) promotion of innovations and research in industry; (e) application of best available industrial technologies and methods; and ensuring technological independence of the regional economy.
