This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes that citizens shall have the right of free stay in forests for the purpose of procurement of edible non-timber forest resources and medicinal plants free of charge and without any special permit or authorization and without allotment of forest parcels. Stay of citizens in forests can be restricted or prohibited in accordance with Forest Code. Procurement and harvesting of mushrooms and wild growing plants recorded in the Red Book of rare and endangered species shall be prohibited. Procurement of the edible forest resources and medicinal plants shall be carried out in accordance with forestry regulations of forest districts and forest parks and it shall be carried out manually, without any mechanical means so as to ensure inexhaustible management and reproduction thereof. Procurement of wood juices shall be carried out in forest parcels of mature forest.
