This Regional Law enters into force ten days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes plenary powers of state regional executive bodies in the sphere of veterinary and ensuring veterinary and sanitary well-being on the regional territory, protection of the population against diseases common to human beings and animals, prevention and liquidation of animal diseases and cure thereof. Authorized state regional executive body in the sphere of veterinary shall perform veterinary supervision aimed at prevention and suppression offences in the sphere of veterinary. Owners of animals shall have the following duties: (a) to carry out veterinary arrangements for the prevention of animal diseases and ensuring safety and quality of animal products; (b) to keep in due order, clean and tidy livestock buildings; and (c) to comply with the established provisions regulating transportation and slaughtering of animals.
