Abstract This Regional Law establishes that citizens shall have the right for timber extraction of forest species for individual personal needs in accordance with purchase and sale contract of forest species growing in public forest. Rates of timber extraction shall be established as follows: (a) for individual housing construction – up to 125 cubic metres once in twenty-five years; (b) for repairs and reconstruction of housing facilities – up to 25 cubic metres once in five years per family; (c) fuelwood for heating – up to 10 cubic metres annually; (d) up to 2 cubic metres of timber once in three years for other individual personal needs.
