Abstract This Regional Law establishes additional measures for ensuring special nutrition to pregnant and breastfeeding women. It shall not be applicable to women completely covered by social security. Special nutrition shall be intended particular foodstuffs for pregnant and breastfeeding women allowing them to receive basic part of micronutrients in optimal composition for fetal development and stable lactation. This Regional Law establishes monthly special nutrition for pregnant women until childbirth and monthly special nutrition for breastfeeding women until completion of six month of age by child.
