Abstract This Regional Law establishes rules for forest management for hunting purposes, specifying that management of forest parcels shall be regulated by lease contracts of forest parcels. Leaseholder must present to the lessor forest management plan within a year from the date of state registration of lease contract. Leaseholder carrying out hunting management on forest parcels shall have the right: (a) to keep and breed wild fauna specie destined for hunting under semi-captive conditions; (b) to carry out biotechnical arrangements (create feeding grounds, sow fodder plant species, creation of artificial nesting points, cover for wild animals and birds); and (c) to construct provisional structure for hunting purposes. Forest managers shall have the following duties: (a) to carry out hunting management in compliance with acting legislation; (b) to ensure the right of citizens for free stay in forests; (c) to ensure protection of wild fauna species and protection of habitats; and (d) to compensate losses caused to forestry.
