Abstract This Regional Law establishes that hunting management on forest parcels shall be carried out by legal persons and individual entrepreneurs in accordance with forest parcel lease contracts. Forest parcels for hunting management shall be allotted to the applicants through tenders. Hunting managers shall be granted the following rights: (a) carry out biotechnical arrangements (creation of feeding sites, artificial nests for birds and covers for wild fauna species); (b) procure forest resources, including non-timber forage, for organization of hunting; and (c) obtain information on forest parcels allotted for hunting. Hunting managers must: (a) use forest parcels for specified purposes in accordance with lease contract arrangements; (b) pay agreed rental fee within established deadline; (c) ensure protection and conservation of wild fauna species; and (d) observe forest fire and sanitary rules and regulations.
