Abstract This Regional Law is aimed at state support of consumer cooperation particularly in rural areas with a view of provision of the rural population with foodstuffs, extension of procurement (purchase) of agricultural commodities produced by peasant farms and by subsidiary farming, and also processing of the aforesaid commodities. State support shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) technical re-equipment and modernization of processing facilities for processing of agricultural commodities and raw materials; (b) sustainable development of consumer cooperation;(c) protection of consumer rights; (d) granting of preferential taxation terms; and (e) granting of public credits.
