Abstract This Regional Law establishes the main tasks of pedigree stockbreeding as follows: (a) state support of pedigree stockbreeding; (b) arrangements for conservation and improvement of hereditary qualities of livestock; and (c) elaboration and realization of state programs for stockbreeding, conservation of genetic fund and breed improvement. Pedigree stud bucks selected for pedigree purposes shall be subject to control and evaluation of offspring qualities. Artificial insemination enterprises must register procurement, processing, control thereof in the process of storage and trade of sperm and embryos of stud bucks of livestock.
