Abstract This Regional Law establishes organizational, legal, economic and social principles the functioning of public health services for realization of the right of citizens to healthcare and health protection. It establishes the duty of the regional administration to provide disabled children with special nutrition and products for special dietary uses. It also establishes the duty of the regional administration to provide pregnant women and children under three years of age with infant food free of charge or, in case of absence of such products or impossibility to provide them through network of public infant food distribution points, to compensate the expenditure through payment of public allowances.
