This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.

Abstract

This Regional Law establishes exceptional cases of timber extraction in accordance with purchase and sale contract of forest species for public and municipal needs. Exceptional cases shall be considered: (a) timber extraction for public needs in public forests; (b) timber extraction for construction purposes, for repairs of public edifices, heating and construction; (c) urgent timber extraction as a result of forest fires, windfall, and damages caused by forest pests and diseases; and (d) timber extraction for agricultural purposes.
