This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

Citizens shall have the right to carry out procurement and harvesting of non-timber forest resources, edible forest resources (wild growing fruits, berries, nuts, mushrooms and other edible species) and collection of medicinal herbs by citizens for individual personal needs without any authorization and free of charge (art. 1). Procurement of boughs and root spurs of coniferous species shall be authorized from felled trees at timber extraction sites. Collection of non-timber forest resources shall be carried out by citizens in accordance with application approved by forest guard (art. 2). Collection of edible non-timber resources shall be carried out in the manner avoiding damages to fruit bearing plants (art. 3). Harvesting of protected mushrooms and wild growing plants recorded in the Red Book shall be prohibited (art. 4).
