This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.

Abstract

This Regional Law establishes that citizens shall have the right for timber extraction of forest species for individual personal needs in accordance with purchase and sale contract of forest species without allotment of forest parcels. Endangered and protected forest species shall be prohibited for timber extraction (art. 3). Application for conclusion of purchase and sale contract of forest species shall be submitted to the authorized state forest institution by the 10th of the established month (art. 4). Rates of timber extraction shall be established as follows: (a) for housing construction – up to 50 cubic metres per family; (b) for repairs and reconstruction of housing facilities – up to 25 cubic metres once in 10 years; (c) for construction of dependency outbuilding – up to 20 cubic metres once in 10 years; and (d) fuelwood for heating – up to 15 cubic metres annually (art. 8).
