Abstract The scope of this Regional Law shall be to ensure fertility of agricultural land by owners, landlords, land tenants and leaseholders. The main arrangements for ensuring soil fertility of agricultural land shall be: (a) promotion of investments directed at improvement of soil fertility of agricultural land; (b) state rate setting in the sphere of ensuring soil fertility of agricultural land; (c) scientific research and practical application the outcome thereof; and (d) monitoring of soil quality and fertility.
