Abstract The scope of this Regional Law shall be regulation of forest relations within plenary powers conceded to the regional bodies in accordance with federal legislation. It states that citizens shall be granted the right of timber extraction for fuelwood, construction and other individual personal needs. Priority timber extraction shall concern destroyed, damaged and overmature forest species. Allocation of forest stand for timber extraction to citizens shall be performed by local government within the limits of timber extraction quotas. Excess of maximum allowable limit for timber extraction shall be prohibited. Timber extraction by citizens for individual personal needs shall be regulated by purchase and sale contract of forest species. Full text Russian Website regzakon.fpa.su
