Abstract This Regional Law establishes rules for forest management for hunting. Hunting management shall be carried out in accordance with forest lease contracts and the lease holders shall be authorized to carry out arrangements for conservation of wild fauna species subject to hunting and natural habitats thereof. Hunting managers must: (a) care for the forests; (b) prevent environmental damages; (c) observe forest fire prevention rules and regulations; and (d) ensure free and free of charge access and stay of citizens in forests. Use of timber, obtained as a result of timber extraction, for conservation of wild fauna species and natural habitats thereof shall be authorized to the amount and within the limits established by forest management project.
