Abstract This Regional Law establishes that number of bee families at the apiaries shall not be subject to limitation and bee families shall be subject to compulsory registration (art. 3). Bee keepers shall be granted the right to place stationary apiaries (bee families) on land plots in their ownership, lease or tenancy (art. 4). Pollination of entomophilous plants shall be regulated by contracts concluded by the producers of agricultural commodities and owners of bee families (art. 7). Trade of honey and other apiculture products shall be carried out by bee owners at negotiated price in the presence of veterinary and sanitary certificate attesting compliance with food quality and food safety requirements.
