Abstract This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of ensuring radiation safety of the population with a view of protection of public health against negative impact of ionizing radiation. Regional Administration shall be responsible for institution and functioning of computer-controlled radiation monitoring system for the following purposes: (a) timely identification of radiation level changes; (b) negative impact assessment of ionizing radiation; (c) prevention or reduction of radiation impact upon the population. Radiation monitoring shall be applicable to environment, alimentary raw materials, foodstuffs and potable water in the areas of radiation hazardous sites. Full text Russian Website regzakon.fpa.su
