Abstract The scope of this Regional Law shall be to ensure reproduction of fertility of agricultural land, rational management thereof, and prevention of negative impact of economic activities on fertility of agricultural land. State regulation shall envisage: (a) priority consideration of agricultural land fertility in the process of decision-making and economic activities; and (b) rational management of agricultural land, efficient and purposeful use thereof. Regional government shall have the following competence: (a) conduct of agro-ecological monitoring of agricultural land; and (b) conducts of antierosion and land reclamation work.
