Abstract This Regional Law regulates the activity of associations of indigenous small number ethnic communities of the North, Siberia and the Far East with a view of protecting primordial living environment thereof, traditional economic activities carried thereby, traditional way of life, traditional fisheries and traditional hunting management. Organization of associations of indigenous small number ethnic communities of the North, Siberia and the Far East shall be based upon the following principles: (a) equality of all the communities; (b) voluntary participation; and (c) transparency.
