Abstract This Regional Law establishes that waste generators must comply with requirements for waste management set forth by the federal legislation. Municipal waste collection shall be carried out separately (food waste, textile, paper etc.) and must comply with ecological, sanitary and other requirements in the sphere of environmental protection and protection of public health. Accumulation of waste shall be carried out with the consideration of hazardousness class thereof. Waste disposal in unauthorized waste disposal sites and littering of land shall be prohibited. Storage of utility waste destined for recycling must prevent loss of precious qualities thereof. Waste disposal sited must be fenced restricting access of unauthorized persons and animals.
